Deleting your CallButton account
This page explains how to delete your CallButton account, what happens during the 14-day recovery window, and what data is removed or kept.
How to delete your account
- Open the CallButton app.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete.
You'll receive a confirmation email and your account closes immediately.
The 14-day window
- Your account closes and you're signed out immediately.
- For 14 days, your account remains recoverable.
- On day 14, permanent deletion runs and your data is removed.
How to cancel
Email support@callbutton.ai within the 14-day window. Include the phone number tied to the account. We'll restore it.
There is no in-app cancel — the app has signed you out.
What's deleted
- Your personal profile (name, email, phone, avatar image).
- Per-venue profiles you created (member numbers, room numbers, preferences).
- Chat conversations — both with venue staff and with the CallButton concierge.
- Favorites and venue history.
- Device tokens used for push notifications.
- Your cart and any in-progress orders.
- Biometric unlock state and saved venue connections.
- Consent log entries tied to your account.
What's retained
- Past order records are kept as the venue's business record. Each order keeps the name, member or account number, room number, and member status you had on file with that venue when you ordered, plus what was ordered and the amounts. The order is unlinked from your account, and your phone number and email are not part of it. See the Privacy Policy, §8.
Other ways to manage your data
For anything below, see the Privacy Policy or email support@callbutton.ai:
- A copy of your data — we fulfill these requests manually; there is no automated download.
- Marketing opt-out — toggle in Settings, or email support.
- Questions or corrections about the data we hold.
Don't have the app installed?
You can still request deletion without reinstalling. Email support@callbutton.ai from the email on file, or include the phone number tied to your account. We'll process the deletion the same way — immediate closure, 14-day window, permanent deletion on day 14.
